Agenda Trails around Cauterets - July / August 2024

The trails season continues more than ever!
Here is the racing schedule within a radius of 50 km around the La Source chalet, in July and August.

  Flower trails (barèges) - July 6, 2024

The 2024 edition, 6th of the name, was advanced by 2 weeks, due to the passage from the Tour de France to Barèges on July 13. Two courses from 13 to 24 km with 750 or 1400 D+, to be done alone, in relays or in teams.

Mountain traces, with views of the Massifs of Neouvielle and the Ardiden. A trail traditionally with many female participants, opinion to sportsmen!

Gabizos Trails (Arrens-Marsous)-July 27,  2024

This is already the 9th edition of this very popular trail, which brings together a thousand participants on four courses, from 5, 10, 20 and 30 km with 250 to 2500 m D+.
The longest race, Gabizos Sky Race, goes through the summits of Berbeillet, Bazès, Pic Arrouy and Omi Agut, following the ridges with a magnificent view of the Val d'Azun.
This year, it will allow you to discover new trails because several kilometers have been reopened on purpose for this race.

  Trail Hard'iden (Grust) - August 10, 2024
new 2024 edition: on the 18km program of Grust in Luz Ardiden or 5km with nice views, a race for children and walks for all.

Trail du Cabaliros (Cauterets) - September 8, 2024

One of the last mountain races of the season, which accompanies the village party.

On a mule path and in a pastoral environment, this 22km race with 1400 m of D+ leads to the top of the Cabaliros crowned from its orientation table: a panorama of the Basque Country at the Bigorre plain, and to Aragon.

 VERTICAL HUMER DU HAUTACAM - September 29, 2024

6.3 km for 1290m D+: This race is aptly named! From the village of Vіllеlso, the route follows an Rаіdе chеmіn quі sеrpеnt lоng dе cso еаu above the hydroelectric station, јus than a іmmеnsе
A little higher, a very rаіdе cso awaits you, equa of a cso fіxе. The ascent ends on Tоuјоurs Ssonuеnso slopes, up to the Pіc of Nеrbіоu at 1747m.
